Overview

We’ll help you plan your strategy, looking at your business objectively – and we’ll cover every aspect of our Nine Pillars of business health.

We’ll then meet with you every fortnight to advise you and keep your plans on track, and we’ll also take on some projects to help you out. When a business is growing there’s always a lot to do.

Calling in our specialist consultants from the Collective as needed, we’ll work as a team to both improve business health and accelerate growth.

The Process

6 Month Commitment

We recommend six months for this program, including the initial Business Health Check, so that we can support you as you settle into a new way of working, and to help if anything unexpected crops up. Clients often extend on a monthly basis thereafter, or switch to another Advisory Services program

Business Health Check

You’ll start with our unique assessment providing a holistic view of the health of your business, across all Nine Pillars. This highlights areas of your business that might need help, sooner rather than later.

Strategic Planning

Next, we’ll meet with you over a one month period to help you plan the strategic actions required to achieve your growth goals.

KPI Plan

We will help you map out a 12 Month KPI Plan for your growth action priorities, spread out to give you time to still work ‘in your business’

Fortnightly Meetings

What's the difference between a Business Plan and a KPI Plan?

In simple terms, a “business plan” shows what a business will do to become commercially feasible, eg how it will make money – that’s why lenders and investors often ask start up businesses for them, before committing funding.

For that reason, Business Plans have to include a lot of “tactical” information, eg around detailed pricing, specific business processes, individual risks, etc.

Once a business is up and running, Business Plans tend to be filed away, and business owners and leaders focus mostly on “working in” the business. Which is where Strategic Plans come in – they are the best tools to help business owners and leaders elevate their thinking back to the strategic level, from time to time.

For that reason, Strategic Plans should deliberately ignore most tactical issues, and focus on the actions that will strategically drive and improve business tactics, from the top down.
